Welcome Samhain, good to see you over here. I was surprised to find a British supermod who had racked up 7000 odd posts and hadn't found our little corner of Hipforums! But now you're here, please make yourself at home.
Ok, well *puts interviewer's hat on* what's Brighton like as a place to live?
And what drew you to witchcraft? How does it affect your life?

Why is it witches are such avant coffee drinkers?

I thought witches normally like herbal drinks, with toe of toad in it if they're not veggie.
I will answer those earlier two questions but when I'm a bit more awake than i am now

I feel that witchcraft has always been a part of my life and it found me, not the other way around, how does it effect my life, it keeps me connected to the goddess (my creater) but also a part of who I am, notice I'm not useing 'we' as I feel that a persons religion shouldn't be forced on someone else.

at the risk of sounding up myself my spell casting has never got out of control, no witch worth his or her salt would go against ethical principles of spell casting and I'm one of them.
if a person is misguided in the craft they are very lucky is their misadventures are funny.
why are you choosing to move to Brighton, like it because theres something for everyone, theres a scene for gay people, for hippies, for rockers, however if you don't want to get involued in 'a scene' its easy to stay away from.
its a busy city, don't come if you want a queit life!!

What do you use spells to achieve? What is it ethical to use them for, and what boundaries would you never cross? Can you describe some of the benefits that you've observed after you've cast one. I've known a few Wiccans over the years and they swear by it. Alas I'm as sceptical of magic as I am of the existence of God. But I'm still interested in how other people approach these subjects....

ok Peace first of all I'm not wiccan, people shouldn't really call themselves that if they are self trained, wiccans are a group of people that train under guidelines and go through 3 stages of initiation in a coven.
which is something i've choosen not to do.
its actually easier to appoach this from the what shouldn't you do
you shouldn't use spells to have power over anyone else and you shouldn't cast spells concerning anyone else without their permission, that would include, doing a healing spell on someone, if you haven't asked, don't do.
magic workers need to look at their intentions, what are we intending to do, if its going to cause even a little harm then it goes against the witches rede of 'do what you will but harm none'
if you have ever thought something then its happened afterwards, ever thought of a friend and they unexpectantly called by, thought of a song then it came on the radio, then you doing magic without realising it, its simply the act of reaching out to the universe and changing it to something you want

Oh I didn't assume you were Wiccan, in fact I assumed you weren't because most Wiccans I've noticed tend to identify themselves first as Wiccans and second as witches.

did you know theres a third option
half empty, half full, and I never ordered that anyway.
its mostly half full, but there are times when it feels half empty too
greatest strenghs: I think I care about people and most people end up trusting me
weakness; I worry and have very little faith in myself

while your guessing at my favourite film, I'll answer this
What is the last film you watched
- on TV
- on DVD / video
- at the cinema
I honestly don't watch much tv just dvd's so the last film I watched on dvd was called 'forgotton'
a women finds that all refernces to her dead son, e,g photos seem to be changing, and shes the only one who can remember him existing, its starts brilliantly then turns into an oridinary, with no suspense at all, chase movie from about half an hour into it.
from then on its obvouis whats going on and its pretty trite
at the pictures i saw the divinci code, I think the book and film are both pretty averge although I am madly in love with tom hanks, and the lead female was wonderful too

I wrote this review else where on the forums
Who is your favourite charater and why?
I think all the charaters are great even the minor ones, but I love Ruth, she's so loving and gentle
Which is your favourite scenes and can you pick one favourite?
difficult, I love the 'lets look at our virginas' when everlyn runs into the broom cupboard
the bit on the train when they throw food at the people- in fact that scene sends shivers up my spine
the bit where Everlyn thinks Ninny is dead then finds out its Mrs Ottis
What is your favourite quotes?
'I can't even look at my own virgina' 'well honey I can't help you with that one'
'have you got a problem with your sexulity' 'no but I do have a problem with my girl'
What do you feel the central themes of the film are?
Friendship
How do you feel the film protrays
A) Women
b) Men
c) Black people
D) Older people
yeah I think the film is quite down on men, white men anyway, it protrays women as the battlers although not always surviving, it protrays old people generally well, but highlights how little society thinks of them
How do you feel about the Religious themes of the film?
I think it shows what happens when christianity is practiced well, and what happens when it isn't
Do you feel the film can teach people anything?
the importance of friendship and tolerance to difference
Is there anything you would change about it?
no
If you have read the book how do you think it compares to the film?
the book is not really suitable for children, and is more a social commentry about racial tension and religious tension, in many ways very different from the film, if you haven't read it, try it, but don't have any expectations
How many stars would you give it (5 being the highest)
5

short answer to two years that are thankfully long past, was because I was different and gay and I never hit anyone, I just refused to run off and stayed around with my head held high no matter how bad it got, and yeah teachers where crap
