I saw that this morning. 30-ish to 3 right? Arizona has showed a major improvement from last year already though. And Matt Leinart is the best QB I've seen drafted in a while. Already showing more potential in one game than Eli Manning showed in his entire first season. With his natural ability and Kurt Warner there to be a mentor I think everybody should keep their eye on him. He's the future of the Cardinals for sure.

yea, 30-3. arizona couldn't move the ball at all. lots of 3rd and long scenarios which, as you know are a big part of the Pats defence.

Matt Cassel did well, tons better than last week. almost looking like Brady on some plays.

and Leinart, he did well when he first got in the game. he did very well with the 2-minute drill in the first half. at times, he didn't realize how fast NFL players were, but he still did a good job out there. and i agree, with Warner as a mentor, Leinart will be the future of the cardinals.

Cassell didn't look bad against the Falcons last week, but he didn't look great either. Literally the only part of the Pats game I saw last night was that 2 minute drill that Leinart headed. I was pretty impressed, and like the repeatedly announced during the game his decisiveness was the most impressing part. There was no second guessing anything it seemed.

Is Cassell going for 2nd string or 3rd string? I haven't really stayed up on the position battles this season. Oh, did Seau play any reps?

Cassel is going for 2nd string. this is the first time in a while we don't have a backup to brady who is a seasoned QB, flutie and bledsoe come to mind. so the team is giving Cassel a chance to prove what he can do with more playing time right now. so i think he'll be the back up to Brady.

Seau didn't play in this game, hope he gets some time in next week

I just saw that the Falcons got demolished by the Packers. 38-13. I'm going to go sit in the corner and cry now.....

Edit: And by 38-13, I meant 38-10.

No, it's because Green Bay got a handful of lucky touchdowns. Two of which came from tipped passes.

So how did the Falcons fare? I left before the game ended, and I'm too lazy to look it up. Besides I know how much you like talking about your precious Falcons.

Victory was ours. 20-6. 1-0 baby. Good start. Although last year they started out like 6-2 only to go 2-6 in the second half of the season, so we'll see. Either way, if they take these first 4 games this season they'll coast for the next 4 games. I'm expecting a 12-4 season this year. 13-3 with a lucky game.

Not just that but Vick's time spent working on his rhythm with his receiving corp has paid off it seems, so far. He looks much more comfortable in the pocket.

The season after Vick broke his leg. I watched him on a highlight and watched him scramble. He rolled up the side line and jumped over a guy that had been dropped down. Just froze perfectly in the air and took off down field. That got me watching their games, but after a few games I realized they're probably the most exiciting team I've ever watched play.

I wish a radio station here would play them. I usually get 2 Sunday games a season, and the Monday night games. Last season I was happy because they had 3 Monday night games. I usually have to go to the bar if I want to see a Falcons game though
