To me...George Harrison's music is beautiful on so many different levels. Great tracks include: "Any Road", "Beware of Darkness", "Rising Sun", "All Things Must Pass", "You Are the One", and the "Writing's On the Wall"...but that doesn't even cover this man's beautiful legacy. :)

George was great. :)

His music has inspired a lot of people over the years.
His two best albums are probably 'All things must pass' and 'Brainwashed', but there is some excellent stuff on other albums too.

Only slight criticism of George is that because of his money, he perhaps lived a life a bit isolated from the concerns of everyday folk, and it is also a shame he didn't do more - a less wealthy and hungrier George might perhaps have produced a lot more.

::nods:: This is true...but I imagine in might have been interesting for a Beatle to become unwealthy... he did leave his son with quite a large sum of money when he died. Though I do respect him for being quite humble in spite of all of it...

I do respect him for being quite humble in spite of all of it...Agreed. George didn't let being wealthy go to his head. And I imagine that having that much money could have disadvantages too. So could the fame.

It must have been verry hard for him,I imagine he had to deal with those who expected him to change as his wealth grew.

Another goodie is the album entitled simply 'George Harrison'. Actually IMO contains his best solo song 'Your Love is Forever'. :D

George said he never wanted to be famous, only successful.
