Isn't anyone else here into music?
Ok, so I start the first three forums for music in COOL.That's cool.
The older PF was pretty enlightening, or at least thought provoking. I have heard references to higher laws sung in their music. Has anyone else noted this?
It's not just drug music, it's inspired! *which, of course, complements the use of certain entheogenic experiences*
I always heard that Syd Barrett used to do huge amounts of acid every day. supposedly, his friends used to slip it into his drinks or food or something. I guess he burned out. But my favourite 'Floyd was in the Syd days.

I also share those same thought's on P.F., though much of their newer stuff also shows a keen awareness of a world hidden from everyday view....Learning to fly....the turning away
They will never grow old.

some dude asked me what my favorite pink floyd song is and i said "'time, comfortably numb & wish you were here" and he goes "you apparently dont know Pink Floyd because they have better songs than that"...why be critisized for having different tastes?! and some people find it so hard to believe a kid from the 90's can actually have Pink Floyd as their favorite band,i mean and alot of us grew up listening to Pink Floyd.

lol the arrogant, up their own arse fans. They think they're the only 'true' fans because they favour the lesser known stuff. You should have ripped the piss out of him :P

*wanders off singing,..... "a movement is accomplished in six stages, and the seventh brings return..." *Learn to Fly is actually a pretty inspirational song. If you know anything about David Gilmore he is also an experienced pilot. This is G-MOUR ex XS102 Painted with a non original serial XR991 in the colour scheme of the 1960's display team The Yellowjacks. This aircraft was once owned by guitarist David Gilmour hence the registration..

I love Pink Floyd. The first concert I ever went to was a Pink Floyd tribute band/Led Zeppelin tribute band show. My favourite albums are: The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, and Wish You Were Here in that order.
If you haven't seen 'The Wall' which was a concept movie Pink Floyd made, DO IT! I think it should be a mandatory film to be watched by EVERYONE! In my top 5 all time movies for sure.
