I don't understand how I can hate it so much. I've litterally reduced myself to doing NOTHING here, and I still get to collect a paycheck. For 25 minutes, myself and the other members of the department sat and ate ice cream while our boss tried to light a bug on fire in a metal lid.
Then we watched some cool videos on youtube. Now I'm posting on here, and will continue to do so for the rest of the night.
Even still I cannot stand being here any more, and I really don't know why.

Maybe you should find work that is more challenging now that you have mastered the art of lighting your farts.
BTW I dont do shit at work either but I'm not about to quit for a more stressful one.

I hate it because I'm tired of them dicking me over. I think I just have too much resentment towards this company to care if they pay me to do nothing.

Why would you resent them? For not promoting you?

They've promoted me twice. They just refuse to pay me more money. And don't say it's because I don't do anything because they don't know that or corporate would fire my whole department.

Sleep with whomever can raise your pay, that should help.

You need to get your resume in order, and start looking for a job that makes you feel more satisfied, something more challenging. It's not as though you have to hand in your 2 weeks notice right now exactly, but always keep your options open. Keep an eye out for better opportunities for employment, get some interviews under your belt, I mean, even if you don't take the job, it's experience to learn by.
That way, at least you won't feel totally stuck in a rut at your present place of employment. You'll feel more hopeful of something better in the future. Don't just sit and settle, you can do better and you know it.

I've got my resume on Monster.com and am always looking around my area for jobs I know pay more. Only problem is that I have no license, and public transportation around here is minimal to non-existant depending on the area. Right now I work pretty far from home but it's fairly convenient because I know people that live around me.
I've even had some companies call me based on my resume from Monster and offer some pretty bad ass jobs, but I can't even make the interviews, let alone make it to work there on a daily basis.
