Is not an arrow or an olive branch,

for an arrow is affixed in rage

and the olive branch can be consumed by the flames of its owners.



Peace

is not a dove,

for the dove lives not forever,

growing weak with age

and short in flight.



Peace

Is the uncompromising

joy of a rainstorm,

Favoring nobody and passing none.



Peace

Is the wisdom of the mountain,

Obeying the commands of Eternity,

Yet not crumbling into the sea.

Just

As the mountain steadily yearns towards the sky,

And the rain cloud gradually soothes the aching land,

So too, shall Peace emerge.

I don't usually go for the peace thing...in my own writing or in others'. But I gotta say, man, you are really talented. This made me wanna cry for some reason. Love the part with the rainstorm. Love it.

i love this piece,the over all view was very lovely and
beautiful like nature...which is so mindblowing so huge
it should be given peace.....
yet to me you forgot how the human can be peaceful
if allowed, if given freedom to live, to learn, to grow.
and not kept down by divide of class..or differences.
to understand the world the rain you speak of .
the seas the mountain ,most of all the human needs for
peace, this is within reach if we have freedom.
then the peace will follow, peace of mind, peace of heart and peace to live the human life we all deserve...
not just the few who can afford it ..
life is peaceful when we view the earth,yet look
closer it cries,with every war with every death
from misunderstandings.so to me peace will
follow freedom..the freedom to be human what ever..


keep writing, it makes me question..all...
