First off, what is the difference between this forum and the Rat Pack. Asides from the invite only feature.

Secondly, has anyone ever been rejected from getting into the Rat Pack?

Thirdly, if not, see question one.

I don't know, I kind of want to apply but don't really understand the difference between here and there. I mean the sub title here is "nothing is off limits". What could the Rat Pack have to offer above that? Maybe the Rat Pack needs a subtitle.

It seems like you guys have named yourselves the cool kids. Maybe it could be "What are the cool kids talking about?"

The difference between this forum and the rat pack is one that this forum is publicly visible and publically accessible. Anybody can post anything they want here, so long as they are not being verbally abusive to another member. Also, this is MY personal forum. Here, I am God. I often use my mod powers to play jokes on my friends by editing their posts to suit my whims etc. In the Rat Pack I may be the mod, but it is not a forum of my own. The Rat Pack is about the group, Cell Thirteen is about me.

Many people have been rejected from the rat pack. I'd say well over a dozen people have been rejected. This includes a few I consider "e-friends" or "e-acquaintences". The reason is that I want like minded people talking about like minded things, making like minded jokes, etc etc. The people that I've rejected are the ones that I know could not, in a proper manner, express disagreement with other members of the rat pack when that arises. I wanted a haven for people like myself who get misunderstood and misinterpreted. People like insanejester who often times has very valid points but gets ignored and flamed because of his delivery of said points.

We haven't named ourselves the cool kids. Altough, admittedly we probably are.

That's a lot of differences. Hmm. I guess I'll apply. I've been rejected several times in life, so what's one more? But I must say, while insanejester can't spell and can't put together coherent thoughts, his delivery is pretty bad. So I can see why uou'd want him. And what was that about him getting flamed? Anyway, how do I apply?

I will provide you a link for applying to the rat pack.

http://www.hipforums.com/forums/profile.php?do=editusergroups Thanks, I applied. I would agree with your assessment on Jester...almost. Instead of thought provoking points, I would say asinine points. Other than that, I think you nailed it. And Jester, I know can't define that word, so here's a link
