I Heard about this website back in highschool. Creeped me out the first time I saw it. Since then I have talked to a few people who have said they have been to the place and could enter but a few feet to the stairs before turning around. Pretty crazy. Check it out.

I showed my cousin the video and then he told his friends about it at work,and they all went down there on some random day about a year and a half ago.They said some trippy shit happened.One of his friends claims to have seen a ghost floating in one of the rooms.The guy that said he saw the ghost was by himself going through the rooms when he saw it....Guys got some balls!

They all didn't really believe in that stuff,but I think they do now!

ya the people who told me said that when they got to the stairs they heard breathing and it felt really really warm all of a sudden as if there was someone breathing hot air all over their area. so they took off. i couldnt even step foot into that house man. im too big of a pussy hahah!

Something really strange happened (or she claimed it did) to a friend of mine.
She was late home from work it was about midnight, and she lives in Stoke Newington, Amersham Road London - (ok get the scene ) Its raining and sleet is falling, so there arent many cars out then, Stoke Newington is usually quite busy but this is a bitterly cold night she gets off the bus and walks down a well lit alley way, into a secluded avenue that leads to Amersham Road. She is just crossing the road when she hears what sounds like horses hooves about 100 yards behind for a split second or two. but didnt think anything of it then she says without warning really loud horses hooves right by her and a glimpse of a carriage wheel of an old horsedrawn carriage - for about two seconds and then silence - she doesnt say she THINKS it was a ghost - she says she KNOWS ! I only have her word but she's no hot head romantic or liar

And I saw a bunch of idiots shrieking and running away from something that could have been a ghost or it could have been some reflection or shadow. But we''ll never truly know, will we? Why? Because those guys were too busy screaming like girls and running for their lives rather than staying calm and filming whatever it was.

Actually, yes I have and I currently belong to 2 forums chock full of actual paranormal investigators like the members Ohio Ghost Hunters Society, BLPA, MMSI, and TAPS(that would be the GH group from the SCIFI Channel show Ghost Hunters). These are also the cyber watering holes of the people who run Darkness Radio, Para-Investigators Chat, and TAPS Paramagazine.

if you pause it then put it back to where they point the camera at it, then you can see pretty clearly that the thing has a flashlight and it looks identical to theirs. And I don't think the old residents of the Barton Mansion had flashlights, did they?

I've had black shadows advance towards me, it IS unnerving but if you want your evidence you have to stand your ground.

But you are right, you know I was thinking for a minute and realized that we don't know how long any of these guys have been ghost hunting. If they are new to the field, then it was a classic rookie mistake. But if it were to be revealed that these guys had been PIs for a while, I'd have to shake my head and call them idiots again.

Brian Harnois from TAPS made the mistake of running away during an episode of Ghost Hunters. He saw an apparition and him and the new rookie ran from it...Brian screaming his infamous " Run, Dude, Ruuuun."

He got a real chewing out on TV by Jason Hawes(the founder of TAPS). After that, his teammates still wonder if he's going to bolt in the event of another apparition.

I'm sorry, but I have seen alleged video of ghosts before, and I have to say that that has to be the crappiest video I've ever seen. It's all fake. I can get the same effect with a sheet, a thin lantern, and some glow-in-the-dark spraypaint.

If you read the story they explain why it couldn't of been someone in the closet playing a joke.The closet is really small,and that ghost/creature looks like it's freakin' HUGE!..And it's not even standing straight up!It's hunched down.That thing is easily taller than the doorway..I don't think too many people know a friend thats 6'8-7 ft tall.

Plus their reaction is one of horror!How do you fake that?

Yes, I've read everything on that site, and they say that no one could have hidden in that closet, because it was too small. But if you look at the photos they took in the daytime, you can plainly see that the closet doesn't have walls anymore! I believe in the paranormal, but this was an obvious fake, and any credible paranormal researcher could tell you that.

Yeah the Mansion is being fixed up now,so it's not the same as it was when they went.

When the dudes that filmed this video went,the closet was still it's original size.Before the ghost appears,the camera is pointed at the closet, then it points to the ground,when they look back at the closet the ghost is coming out towards them.It couldn't of been these two playing a joke,by having one of their friends pop out.The closet is so small that the camera would of saw him when it first pointed towards the closet.

You know, in the time between when they first looked at the closet, and when they looked at it again, they could have had someone walk to the closet, get it, then walk back out when they panned back over. Most people can fit into a 10" closet. I used to live in a house that had a 8' closet (back wall to door), and I could still effectively get into the closet (I'm 6', and a large build).

Also, and this is my ultimate proof that this was fake, is this: If the ghost passed through the walls to get into the closet, why would it have to duck to get back out? Also, I think that if a ghost or a demon can pass through walls, it wouldn't have any trouble catching these bozos.
