What a delightful adventure this movie is....have you seen it?
its a coming of age movie for a teenage jewish boy who has had his fair share of hard knocks. he befriends/ or is befriended by a Sufist widower who owns a store in his community within Paris. the friendship blossoms in the tenderest ways. the dialogue and scenery are amazing. i found it inspiring, thought-provoking and a delight.
there are subtitles as the movie is in French. man am i glad to have been introduced to the world of foreign films. their story lines may not be as fast paced but the messages are deeper(generally)
