Have you guys tried huffing. Its really wierd like you are under water and your voice sounds really deep. I know its bad for you so i only did it 5 or 6 times. But it was pretty cool i wish it lasted longer it seemed to only last about a minute every time.

When I was 19 I huffed paint thinner for a small while. Only because I was always fucked up on other drugs so I didnt use my good sense that huffing is so stupid. The pitifull little high isnt worth what that shit does to your brain and body. You might as well just eat poison.......it did smell good though.

When i tried it i used key board cleaner it had like compressed air in it or something but it was a strong short high. I have tried others like paint thinner and spray cans but the high were stupid i could hardly feel them. If you try it use key board cleaner.

Don't use keyboard cleaner, just don't huff at all. When your voice gets really low when you huff, it's because the compressed air you're inhaling is cold. It's so cold that it freezes your vocal cords, making the move slower than normal; thats why it sounds deep. The worst part those, other than damaging your vocal cords, is that it also freezes the inside of your lungs. Eventually, you'll inhale too much and your lungs will not thaw in time to give you air, and you'll die. Have fun!

huh? I thought it was because the vocal chords vibrate at different frequencies because of the density of the gas. Helium is light so the voice is higher. You have a very novel theory though.

Huffing is dumb. Dont even bother.. Unless you like being stupid the rest of your life...

Yes, that is true about helium and all gases. But, Dichlorodifluoromethane is a known refridgerant. Pure liquid Dichlorodifluoromethane will give you frostbite is applied to the skin. Pressurized Dichlorodifluoromethane exposed to the eye will cause freezing on the eye's surface. From a non-scientific point of view, have you ever felt a can after a few people have hit off of it? It's cold, very cold. Now imagine what that's doing to your lungs and vocal cords.
I'd also like to mention that for a period after you exhale, you're still talking in a lower pitch. Now, if this was only due to the denser gas (4.2) your pitch would have returned to normal after your voice box had been exposed to oxygen, but it does'nt. I hope that clears things up.

You don't understand?
...well, its a, ummm, desperate high. When kids can't get what they want, they get what they can. There's always gonna be that 10% or so of any population that will experiment with mood altering substance.
I didn't know that shit was a refrigerant. That's dangerous then. Haven't tried that but when I was a kid I tried gas, paint thinner. white out, gold spray paint, anything to get a buzz since it was so hard to find weed or anything else decent. I hate to see young ppl huff shit too but I've been there.
