Lateset Press Release:

Friday: 31st July 2004: A local resident visited the camp today and told us she had been speaking with the archaological survey team. They informed her that they had found Roman remains close to Two Mile Coppice. They also told her that they believed there was a strong liklihood of finding the remains of a Roman settlement within Two Mile Coppice itself, with it being 500 to 800 years old, however they were unable to survey that area, alleging that the Council and the Woodland Trust had refused them permission.

Local support for the protest is growing and we have been visited by journalists seeking to find out more about our campaign to save this ancient and beautiful woodland
