From what I've seen on here, I'd go with giving up the husband, but then again, matters like that aren't so cut and dry, nor an easy decision.

Jess do feel that you can answer the poll yourself!

Has it boiled down to an either/or R/L proposition?

I think he needs to know why "the poll".... like maybe I have been forced to quit pot in order to keep the husband.
Since he is a huge chronic pot head I'd say quitting pot would be for my own personal growth .... right now where I am staying my friend is also a habitual pot user, so it wuld be difficult for me to quit. However when I smoke it lately, I feel sadder (if that is possible) than before I smoked it, unless of course Whose Line is it Anyway is on, that show always makes me laugh when high. Damn that Canadian Colin Mochary is sooooooooooooooooooooooo funny.
If I let go of my husband, that will help me to grow stronger etc. right? Stop pining over my situation ..... live in the moment not in the past yadda yadda.... but 16 years is a long time.

Pot sucks when you have something on your mind, the opposite of an escape

I know...lol. The poll is a good idea. Of course when I tell my reality friends about it they are going to think I'm even more of a frickin nutjob than I already am... but hey they are too stoned to think any different right?
And Gary if I quit both what the hell will I do?

From what I have heard about her "husband" if you will, my vote is for letting go of him. Jess is a sweet person and deserves better. :D

Thank- you everyone. He is being an ass.... but we have 3 children, a house, debts, great sex ..... and actually had a somewhat good relationship... what has happened obviously needed to happen. I don't know what will become of "us" but I do know I consider him my family and my soulmate..... this is all very difficult for me. I do know that I am not going to b e held completely responsible for what's happened. Along with him graduating from university, he has changed. Become god-like in his mind. I really hope that he will just "get it"..... I mean understand what the hell is going on here. That's what I wish for.
I have court tomorrow.

why don't you buy an ugly corsette thing, post pics of yourself in it, and wait for the desperate and overly polite to come compliment you? It would also help if you were a little uglier, then people would feel the need to show you excessive love.
but since I know you are above that, why not come on down to the park and chill with me and watch the sun go down

Just as long as it doesnt get remanded again. I need this to be over.If it is remanded again consider that
the longer this is drawn out the greater the possibility
he may screw up to your advantage.
It's terribly difficult but there's
more to be gained in working with the system
v.
allowing the system to work against you/ provoking you
into screwing up.
Be patient.
