Ok, I find this drug very entertaining and very strange. So far as I know the only ways to get messed up from using N2O are: 1. to attach a mask of N2O to your face and sufficate 2. Taking large ammounts of N20, depleating the body's vitamin B12. If you do not sufficate yourself, and you take b vits regularly, is N02 safe? What does it do to the lungs? Anything else I should know about this drug?

As far as i know, N20 doest nothing bad to you. Its given in hospitals and dentist offices for long periods of time, in conjunction with 02. But yeah, if you keep popin them B12's and take a break every once in a while, it shouldnt really hurt you.

What does it do? And where can you get it?

The only place you can get whippets from is from those *adult* stores. And to buy anything there you have to be 18. Supposedly. If there was one near me like in walking distance I would go there like right when it closed and would tell the worker that if he went back in and brought me out a pack of whippets I would pay him 4 dollars plus what the pack costs. Sadly that is but a fantasy in a recreational drug users developing mind.

How i love the familiar sound of balloons being filled. I only do nitrius as festivals, its the only place i can ever get it. Really short, but very fun.

Ew, 6 chargers in a row = extreme nausea and unpleasantness, at least for me. Nitrous is nice, but I have no idea what its effects on the lungs are. The nitrous oxide used medically probably does not hurt the lungs. But the N2O you find at head shops is not medical-grade N2O... it IS for whipped cream canisters... so it's not pure. Who knows what it could do to your lungs? There really is no telling what's in it other than N2O. That's the main reason I stopped doing nitrous (even though I only used it occasionally, I was concerned about what it could be doing to my lungs).

it's pure, it's just not medical grade. It's culinary grade.
I like nitrous a lot. doing balloons are quite safe.
I dont like doing whippet chargers. I like tanks better. ;)
much easier to fill a balloon.

My dad was a dentist and as a teen I cleaned his office at night for money. Need I say more?http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/icons/newicons/icon6.gif

Just as long as you don't go overboard. My younger brother, when it came his time to 'clean the office', passed out with the mask strapped to his face. Parents found him, thank goodness. But there is nothing like the gas after about a half an hour or so. So very meeeeellooooooow.

nitrous... i really only do it at festivals, and my eyes always light up when i hear that sound of that ballon fillin' up... how much should you pay for a ballon? i usually just smoke the dealer out or something, and he gives me a ballon or two.. i dont ever remember paying for nitrous, which is good i guess!

That's how I first experienced N2O. My friend got a job cleaning a local dentist office. He'd fill garbage bags, load his van up and we'd have nitrous parties... until the dentist started leaving notes on the tank.
The best combo was sucking down two bags while tripping on some really mellow gel acid. *TOTAL OUTER BODY EXPERIENCE* Have never since had a high like it.
On the down side... half of the buzz is from absolute lack of oxygen to the brain. This is what causes people to 'do the fish' (aka - go into convulsions) when they neglect to take a break. It's really discusting to witness... especially when they come to and instantly go right back to sucking more N2O. They don't call it hippy crack for nothing!

When we did it at the office we pretty much did it like a dentist, we would use an oxygen / nitrous ratio through a mask, though I know we were alittle heavier on the nitrous part than a dentist would use http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/icons/newicons/icon19.gif
