am i the only one in here that cannot stand that channel? i mean ill admit to watching jessica simpson be an idiot on occasion just cuz its funny but please at least rename your station...there is nothing to do with music on your channel...besides watching the lives of "musicians" who by the way are only famous because of these shows

Most people say that, and they have plaved a few underground bands, but all it did was seem to label those bands as "sell outs" because they are on MTV and MTV is "uncool" in the eyes of most indie snobs. I don't know, I don't think MTV will ever be a good station, no matter what music it plays, because it has such a bad reputation.

no i never said i think i look like him, but ive been compared to him before. i say some clueless stuff ive noticed, like he does in that 70s show, and i overdo facial expressions often, like Kramer. i get compared to both alot during school:)

I blame the Real World and Road Rules for MTV being dragged into the pits of no return. I won't be surprised if they had a change of heart and actually started playing music. But then again, they would still only play what they think everyone wants to hear b/c it's hip and trendy. I'm glad I only have broadcast TV. It just rots your brain and steals creativity. IMHO

yah i know i never really watched mtv...even though alot of people i know are like 'hey did u see that on mtv/trl' to me im like huh? I watched it a few times...just for that show 'One bad Trip" and for "Room Raiders". but seriously, yes, haha why do they call it MTV? Its just a station that has a whole buncha lame shows on it, and like lame videos haha. they shud have a station where they play like live performances by good bands that were around before them bloody music videos, i say!
