I'm not complaining or anything, but I think it would be for the best to not let new members(like anything under 200 posts) give reputation points. I got one from that Nazi from a few days ago. It's not a big deal or anything, but anyone can just make a new s/n and hang out reputation points--good and bad. Like there are 5,430 members, but most of them barely post at all. Yeah, they're members, but they don't really contribute to any posts, but can add reputation points, which they may or may not do, I don't know. Just something I wanted to add.

For a bunch of informatin on Rep points please see http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=319

Anyone can leave reputational comments, but only people with Reputational Power will affect your rep score. Brand New members start with a Rep Power of 0. (They can adjust +0 and -(0/2) points)

I moderatoed the rep comment from your profile so you won't have to see it, when you look in your user CP you should notice that you have GREEN, RED, and GREY circles by the rep comments, GREEN adds points, RED remvoes points, and GREY has no affect on your points.

haha, you got a point backtothelab. I also got a point from some of the neo-nazi surge saying "idle threats from the common jew."

Oh, so if a user has no karma, they don't affect mine? Thats pretty cool. thanks for helping to clear that up xaosflux.

Welll...kinda...Karma points and Reputational Power are related, but are not dependant on each other...e.g. it may be possible to have a Karma score of '0' but still have Reputational Power due to user class, post/day, referrals, ect...Reputational power is made up of many factors of your profile.
