i'm in second year and was set to major in urban planning and history after being utterly confused as to what to go into.
but i've switched into a diffrent program, one that i have a natural intrest in. now i am set to a minor in the classics and english, and a major in history.
should be very intresting, im excited and feel that these are the right choices.

i started off as a geology major. wasn't me and really wasn't that interested in it. only interesting part was volcanoes and for me to specialize in volcanoes, which i really didn't want to do either, i would have to wait until i got into a master's program. now i'm studying economics, probably get a minor in business management so that i could get a broader job basis after school.

I'm studying Political Economics.
that sounds interesting...is it a hybrid type program, which you take classes that teach political science and economics. or a program where you just learn the political aspects of the economy. whatever it is, sounds interesting.

that sounds interesting...is it a hybrid type program, which you take classes that teach political science and economics. or a program where you just learn the political aspects of the economy. whatever it is, sounds interesting.Hehe.. Well, Its a 3 year Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in political economy so you have to take a alot of classes on the 'arts' side like geography, psychology etc. If it was Bachelor of Science program, then there would be more science stuff involved.
I started out trying to study Psychology but it didn't work out at that time because new job and new environment and everything. I do my courses through distance learning. I did the IB diploma in high school and economics was one of my 'higher' subjects which means that the level is equivalent to some first year uni courses and that's why I'm doing it now. For me, it's easier to remember and relearn rather than totally start out again because I am not 18 years old anymore.
And its cool. I've always enjoyed economics in school so I find myself wanting to find time to study. I'll let you know more when I've done more of the course.
hehe
I'll have a BA degree in september in Archaeology (prehistory)
and I'm planning to specialize (masters and a PhD) in Nautical Archaeology.

Music!
I'm a music major (musicology), basically have the courses for molecular biology, too, but my school is stupid and doesn't allow two majors. And then I'm likely to enter the program in teacher preparation, so i'd be certified to teach secondary school.
I have decied that i am going to be in school for a good while.D
Double majoring in French & English, I picked English because it is my worst subject. i am going to have my assoc in criminal justice next year. I plan to minor in Music& and orienteriing/wilderness surivial. and maybe throw in a math minor. And then i hope to pick up another lang, maybe latin, Ger, or something out there like korean
I figer when i am nearly getting paid to go to school i might as well take advantage of it

I wish I can get paid for going to school or at least having it paid for. No such luck so that's why I'm still in school now. Have to finance it myself just about.
