Describe the girl, and her style; then tell me what he normally wears. I can take care of this. I'm a master shopper.

The girl basically looks and dresses like J Lo
and the guy
well, he's 24, kind of conservative in what he wears. doesn't really have style per say.

darker blue jeans with slight fading, a button up shirt that looks cool untucked or a vintage t-shirt that has a funny graphic or saying on it and a suede blazer, either pumas or cute non-dressy loafers.
or if he is more casual and it is warm there already than baggy cargo shorts, the vintage t-shirt, a cool sweatshirt and flip flops

That's the general direction I was going to suggest for him. Two things to keep in mind here. One, if he's not mexican make sure the shirt isbuttoned. Two, long sleeves look better.

That screams douche bag, or highschool ass clown.

No to the pumas, and I'd also recommend some tan uggs or something similar if he doesn't care for loafers.

What is it with you and dorky t-shirts, lynsey? :p If he liked the idea of baggy cargo shorts, and isn't deathly skinny, I'd recommend a decent sleeveless shirt or muscle shirt in place.
Friends dont let friends wear lame shirts with catch phrases ;)

Dont like the vintage tee or funny graphic idea at all.
Call me simple, but I thought a plain black button up or vneck and jeans would be fine.

Gotta have the right jeans, and a plain black button up screams boring.

You're out of your mind. That shirt is hideous. Uggs are comfortable as fuck. You can say what you want, but there's nothing girly about the pair I own. Some of them do look like womens house slippers, I agree, but others are not bad at all.
And if you don't like Uggs, Lugs are still much better than Pumas.

hah I have a million pairs of uggs I love them...but not on guys. Lugz are way too gangster for my taste. I liked pumas before they were cool and I buy mine in the boys section because they don't make the california ones in girls anymore so I just think it would be dope if I showed up for a date with a guy who was wearing the same shoes...we could be twiners :)
the shirt is gorgeous I know what's in-you do not you want the man to wear house shoes and muscle shirts wtf? lol

Lugs are not all "gangster" by any means, and pumas are just like any other tennis shoe/sneaker.

You want him to look like a teenage nerd. He shouldn't wear uggs w/ the muscle shirt, no. And again, not all Uggs look like house slippers. Btw love, I'm a subscriber of GQ magazine. I'd say I'm up to speed on what's in for guys. Go back to reading your cosmo now ;)

I worked in the nordstroms men departments for almost a year thank you very much I had some very loyal customers and my boobs weren't even that big back then so it had to be my tastes...and stop I'm already one ahead of you...Lugs are not all "gangster" by any means, and pumas are just like any other tennis shoe/sneaker.
