Frequency of LSD use

Hey I was wondering how many of you out there have
A: Tried LSD?
B: How often do you do it?

I've done it about 4 times. It's not something I like to do often. My last trip was at "IT"...and it was just beautiful. I took 3 hits of non-perferated, tan on the back paper tabs. I hanging out at my car, just watching the people walk by and I saw rainbows between peoples legs as they were walking by. So wonderful, ahhh!!

when i could get it, i did it once every weekend, 3 times. then i waited a while and tripped 2 more times.


quality over quanity, you shouldnt trip too often.

A. I've done acid many many many many (well you get the picture) times.
B. Whenever there is trustworthy acid in town- which is not very often, I do it. I'm gonna get some vials of supposedly "fresh, pure" shit that is straight from whoever made it via my friend away at Trinity University who is coming home for the summer. I'm gonna save most of it for myself but I will definitely get rid of at least a third of it.

Between the LSD & Mushrooms I couldn't begin to put a number on how many times. I started in 1980 and tapered off in the 90's. There would be spells were I'd take it once or twice a week, then not do it for months. In the 90's I'd only drop twice a year, but I was getting much better LSD. By choice I haven't tripped in 4 years, but I'm sure I will again one day.

I used to trip pretty regularly, several times a month when there was ample supply back when I was in my late teens and early twenties. It seems acid was far more plentiful then as opposed to now.

I have no desire to use acid again, it's been quite a few years and I prefer utilizing plants to journey.

Is it just my area or has acid availibility decreased and the quality gotten worse?
I hear alot of folks complaining about bunk acid.

so much that i have really lost count...
well over a hundred individual trips, i think...

but it's been about 2 years since i've had acid now,
and i feel absolutely great.
i've had acid offered to me, and i turned it down,
because i feel like there is no reason for me to take it anymore.

when i first had LSD, it shifted my perspective to a such a place,
and you know, it "expanded my consciousness" etc...

and since then, i've tried to get at that place with marijuana,
mushrooms, alcohol, nitrous oxide, datura,
morning glory seeds, and a few others... but all fall short.

LSD is truly unique and so immensely powerful.
but for those reasons, there is a beginning and an end to my trip.
i don't envision taking acid again. no need.
towards the end of my acid-days, i felt like it was starting to do me
more harm than good. and i still feel that way.

i remember a random quote from Ken Kesey that went something like...
"LSD is a short-cut to a higher consciousness."
yes it is. and i've had to retroactively learn just what it all means;
completely sober to really understand it. acid gave me a glimpse of the
horizon, and then i realized that there was still quite a distance to walk.

these days, salvia is my psychedelic, should i need one. it is the one entheogen that does not disagree with me at all.

well i know i would prolly do it if it was in cincinnati. but i havent seen any for like 4 years. i know its made it way here, its just never abundant.

my friend fried all day everyday for a long time ( like 3 years maybe) and now he is physically fucked up. he has an ulcer and hppd and all types of constant side effects the doctors refuse to believe exist. one crooked docter got him on GEODON or some shit and he had a horrible psychotic episode. he hasnt been the same since but he will always be the kind hearted guy i met a few years ago. just thought i'd add my experience with over use.
has any one else here over done it? im sure he'd like to know it wasnt just him.

15-20 times. At first they were really spread out, but then I had a bunch so they were less spread out :P I can't imagine I will ever trip more than once or twice a year again. I haven't done it in almost a year and I plan to take at least another year or two off. I really have no desire to do it anymore. It was an amazing learning experience, but I had my LSD phase. If the time and place are right, though, I am open to trip again one day.

Slowing down now. depends when i bother to buy it. I generally buy a bunch and it will last a month and ill trip a few times and then i wont bother chasing more up for a few months.

I dont know how i used to do it every week. It takes more out of me than it used to.

maybe smaller doses are the answer...

Its a shame i just got a new hookup with some of the best tabs ive ever had and cheap too, not sure i can resist the temptation.
