Instructions
Do this spell on the Full Moon
1. Open your magick circle. Set up your correspondences. Pour yourself a cup of fragrant tea, such as chamomile or jasmine. Light your incense and candle. Lay out your herbs for the faeries. Play your music CD and hold your crystal. Relax while listening to the music, and proceed into a trance state by relaxing and breathing deeply for three minutes. Focus your mind on your rune symbol. Take as long as you need to reach this relaxed trance state.
2. Write 3 wishes on the bay leaves. These should be wishes about your job duties. Sprinkle them with cinnamon. Burn them. Cut the mustard with a knife (your athame). After you cut the mustard, blow the ashes of the bay leaves and the mustard and cinnamon into the air over a body of water ( a stream or river, or a nicely decorated bowl with water in it) so it can go "into proper channels" for distribution. Chant nine times:
I am ready. I am fine.
I am able. This job's mine.
I look sharp, and I do right.
Cut the mustard. Win the fight.
3. Now sit down with paper and pencil and take a serious, logical inventory of your personal assets which make you valuable to an employer. Turn your inventory into a resume or a letter to yourself. Memorize the logical reasons why you are valuable for a job. Then go tell your boss what they are. Your magick spell will ensure that your boss hears what you said. Magick never absolves you of the responsibility to use mundane effort. It just makes you get lucky when you work hard.
4. Close down your circle, thank the corners for the assistance, and replace your circle back in its brass box. Carefully wrap all the correspondences you used in silk cloth, and store them in a box to be used another day.
You may do this spell repeatedly, for as long as it takes you to fully form the picture in your mind of your logical assets for a job, and learn to communicate them.
