true story, the basement of my house is haunted... I would be skeptical hearing this story, but on all things holy I swear it to be true.
This house we live in, was the house my hubby grew up in. About 6 years ago, before he and I met, he was awaken one night with the tv in his room on (was off before he went to bed) and all other lights off. There was this child standing beside his bed, voiceless, holding his hand. He stood there for like 10 minutes, and when my husband, in shock, closed his eyes tightly and then reopened, not only was the boy gone but the tv off too.
There have been occasions where stuff has been moved around w/out anyone touching them. Glasses that were full of liquid became half full. Computers that were off turned on by themselves. There was one time (this was particularily eerie) where my husband, brother and I were downstairs playing Scrabble and we had all left the room (brother to the bathroom, husband to fold laundry, me to get a glass of water) and we came back to the room and found the pieces on the carpet reading "help please".
Too eerie, true story.
