I've had all these messed up theories of Atlantis and the gods and i came across this video which explains a lot.

atlantis was just minoen crete. gods in a sense, all gods, are invariably alien. anything lacking our fleshly limitations is per deffinician "alien" to them.

so i don't see how anyone can say there is a god and then say it is in any way not "alien".

people from other worlds aren't gods thought. just people who look funny. or not even like we think of people at all. maybe even sometimes not like we would expect anything living to look at all.

but a tangable being is not a god. just someone from someplace. a god lives in and out of all places.
