i understand your intentions are well and you want to help, but your probably freaking him out by nagging him about this. i avoid and have actualyl LOST friends because they wouldnt stop questioning an eating disorder. even if he DOES have one, theres absolutly nothing you can do to 'fix it.' all you can do is be a friend. just like you didnt create this problem, its not your job to fix it. i know that the initial reaction is to 'help' and all that, but getting involved where hes not ready for someone to be involved will only make things worse. it sounds as if his mom is trying to take care of the problem, so just let it be their issue. good luck to you and your friend.
