Ok, this is some weird shit, but it's true. It seems like at least once every week or 2, I'll just be in some random place whether it's outside or inside, and all of a sudden I catch a whiff of what I would SWEAR was opium. This has happened in places where nobody would be smoking it, too. I guess it could just be something that smells similar to it, but it's such a distinct smell. Even weirder (though it has happened less) is I'll be smoking some bud, and I'll take a hit and it will taste like ope. This could be explained by the fact that there may be some resin from some that I might have smoked before, but it happened once or twice with a joint before. Maybe it's like a flashback or something? Has anyone else ever had this shit happen?

There is this spot in the road down the street where I always smell potatoes. It's like the whole area smells like potatoes, it's crazy.

I forget the name of it, but some people have sensory experiences which are not really there. I smell amonia before I get a bad migraine, do you have seizures, or absence seizures or migraine? This might explain the sensory experience.
Anyway, it was just a thought.

Anyway, it was just a thought. No, I don't...at least not that I've ever noticed ;) Anyway, I guess I'm just messed up or something, but that's just the weirdest shit. It's not like I mind it though...I love that smell.
Oh, and I just remembered something...I remember hearing some time ago (on loveline of all places) that some people have a tendency to smell things that aren't there. It's some kind of medical condition...I think the most common thing for people to smell was something like burned peanut butter? Oh well...I have bigger concerns.

You're probably just smelling some sort of flower; whenever I go to visit my grandparents' house, the place smells like an opium den. Maybe they're not telling me about what they REALLY do in their free time.

In the case of migraines, it is called an aura.
