I would have to say Shrooms, Acid is definitely second but when I'm on shrooms I feel like it has the freedom to take me anywhere I want to go and see anything I want to see.
Acid just has that same fixed state where everything is just groovy and chill, basically the same thing everytime (somewhat) and Shrooms has a completely unique feeling to each trip. My theory is that Acid "holds you back" because it is a semi-synthetic drug whereas mushrooms (the psilocybin) is made naturally.

It was originally "Further". It later became "Furthur" much later on (I think in the 80s or 90s), as a joke - the implications being that by having a slightly different name, it wouldn't be recognized as being the same bus.

Hence all the confusion and silly arguing about Further/Furthur. The answer is both are correct, though the bus is *currently* named "Furthur", and I imagine will remain that way forever.

Yes, For one, Meth can be very psychadelic in many ways comparable to shrooms or Acid, you just have to be around the right people who appreciate it for what it is. I have had many psychadellically bonding experiences on meth that were the same as what I would achive from Shrooms, Acid. Almost a psychic connection type of experience. Now please, I used to do Meth for seven years, and it's not only when you come down that you hallucinate. But I was raised out of a crack house and had the oppurtunity to smoke as much as I wanted if I wanted too. To watch the way people interact, especially older people (young people or newbies are always a bit to tense, selfish about it...) it really is a psychadellically inclined experience.

What im saying is, this post is not so far fetched, at least not if you think it's alright to compare Acid to shrooms (These are to VERY different drugs also!) Why some people claim there so similiar, I don't know. Yeah, you hallucinate, but where it takes you is completely different from eachother. For me, the difference is mainly that shrooms take me on an inward trip, things that deal with me or emotions and hidden fealings. Acid takes me on an outward adventure where I gain deeper understandings of life outside my normal realm, society as a whole and there problems/solutions...
