Clashes erupt at Poland gay march

A gay tolerance march in the southern Polish city of Krakow has been attacked by a rival demonstration of young nationalists.
Police using riot shields and batons kept the two demonstrations apart.
Several arrests were made after members of the far-right All Poland Youth Group began throwing stones and eggs at the participants of the tolerance march.
More than 1,000 people, including an ex-deputy PM, took part in the march to promote tolerance to gays and lesbians.
At the same time, activists from the nationalist All Poland Youth were holding what they called a "tradition" march.
Some held banners daubed with the words, "Stop deviation". Others chanted, "Lesbians and gays, all of Poland is laughing at you"

((( *honestly this saddened me deeply, they shouldn't say that**It was a friendly or peaceful march, they changed their route to avoid a clash so talk to them with love, am I right! – if they are wrong tell them why do you think so, help them, don't say, all Poland is laughing at you, this really hurt me- many gays became normal people (as we or many think and believe that normal people aren't gays), if you don't want to listen to them, then go away, give them a chance- I knew many gays, they are really very kind people, put yourself in their shoes- I don't know if those far-right All Poland Youth Group gave them a chance before- I posted this to tell everybody, that gays aren't bad, they are like us (human beings they have feelings), yeah, we disagree with them in things, but we should listen to them first and try to help- mocking at them really hurt me deeply-this will make them hate you and won't listen to you- share them your heart, it was A gay tolerance march so it was the best chance to talk to them, they came to us, actually we should go to them if we really care about them and wish a better life to them- a famous Kuwaiti channel (the owner is Muslim of course) made an interview with a homosexual Muslim woman the interview was very peaceful and friendly ^^, they respect her nobody mocked at her, many Muslim audiences attended the show she didn't mind to answer their questions- see give them a chance- they will open their heart-they key is in your hands-just know how to use it or leave it to someone else-they are God's creatures anyway like us- if you think they aren't normal then I'm sorry you 've just proved to me that you ARE NOT a normal-because you didn't give them a chance it was a peaceful march-they changed their route to avoid a clash but you ran after them,hurled stones and eggs! who is the normal here, tell me!*

The tolerance demonstration changed its route to avoid a clash, but some members of the tradition march ran after it, hurling stones and eggs.
Two years ago, a gay march in Krakow was also attacked.
Homophobia is not uncommon in this staunchly Catholic country.
And gay rights groups say the situation has deteriorated since the conservative Law and Justice Party came to power last September.
It campaigned on traditional, family and Catholic values.
Shortly after he became Prime Minister, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz said in an interview that homosexuality is unnatural.
According to surveys, nine out of 10 Poles agree with him.
