Great dog (dog is god spelled backwards). You look happy, good to see. The grave is really nice.
I don't think I ever mentioned that we have a dog. Now, don't get me wrong, but I feel about dogs how some people feel about children, they are OK but I don't want one of my own. This dog is a bit different though. She is a St bernard mix that Eda bought with her from Texas. She is almost 14 and has really been through the wars. She ate a poisoned raccoon once and it did some nerve damage to her hips. She still gets around alright but has trouble climbing up the steps. Eda keeps her shaved (except for the end of her tail) because it's so hot here, also we are convinced that she's allergic to herself. We are just two old ladies here me and Tequila, otherwise known as Piffles.

Had a hard time finding you. I love these changes! Keeps me on my toes, NOT!!!

I haven't been on here much lately. I fought the law and the law won. The bastards! Couldn't register my car because of tickets, I already paid them all but the DMV says not. My drivers license expired and I couldn't renew it because my green card had expired. I did not know they expired, I have been here since '65. Jesus, what do they want. Now I am having to deal with homeland security to get the green card renewed. Bah humbug I HATE THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!

Just thought I would drop by and say hey! How ya been? It's been awhile I know. Lots going on in my neck of the woods and I don't get a chance to get up here to the forums like I use too. Nice pixs...and also looks like a nice lifestyle...

As for me....hmmmm, well as the song goes..."I was a free man in Paris, I felt unfettered and alive, nobody calling me up for favors, and no ones future to decide......" Gosh so fettered these days. Learned about a month ago that my brother has pancreatic cancer. He just started chemo, but, the future does not look to bright. Trying the best I can to keep him postive and fighting...but, as you know, if its time, its time.

Been really hot here the past week or so. Lots of really weird storms too. Mother Nature has something against my little town I think. At least thats the way it would seem. Tho they say we draw to us what we get. Somebody around here must have pissed Mother off big time!

Anyhooo, just wanted to say hi.

How-Dee, Everyone! I just tripped in here and found all your replies... Wow!

Since I'm running late this AM... well I got feeding done with at 6 AM, picked up the carpenter at 7:30, got the trash out, and had to go over and discuss the changes we're making at the guest house to prepare it for rental... I'm plum tuckered out already and the day's not even half over with. I have to go over and milk, clean Raven's stall, lime and throw around a couple bales of straw for the girls...

But I'll be back to chat with you all later. Kay?

OH! I took off the cast from Kaibab's broken leg yesterday... looks to be where I did good for the little guy... the bone is straight and seems strong. He's putting weight on it, walking a bit stiffly but that's to be expected. I had him seperated from the herd for a while, but I put him back into population last night and he's doin' good.

Well... Things are going Nuttsy around here today. I'm waiting for the plumber to come and look at the water works over at the guest house. One set of carpenters are here fixing the railings on the porch... The other set is over at the other house screwing things up royally... I had a horse training lesson this morning so I was rushing around trying to keep everyone together and occupied... but when I finished milking and walked through the door here, there was my teacher calling. Her day is nuttsy too. So I'm home for the duration... well at least until the plumber leaves and I can head on out to the liquor store.

I took this pic the other day. Took it from my driver's seat in my truck. These are the young guys... I've been watching them grow. The guy has a bunch of pastures with mucho, mucho buffalo. I think today I will finally go over when the market opens and buy some buffalo steaks for din-din.

Sue, best wishes for your brothers' healing. I understand; I had chemo 20 years ago along with a double mastectomy, and tomorrow I am going for a CAT scan to have a lump in my armpit investigated...let me tell you, I am plenty scared. Strength and hope to you, your brother, and your family.
