in the last 4 months ive smoked about 10 times (only two tokes or something)compared with being an on off heavy user for 3years before. I stopped because it made me feel completely disconnected from reality. Im probably being really impatient in being completely normal again but recently ive felt disconnected from everything around, almnost like my senses have been numbed. but i have no idea why. it really confuses me. maybe i have blocked ears and my eyesight is going dodgy, because im not feeling particularly messed up from it and feeling 20 million times better than when i smoked weed- but its jus startin to do my head in as sometimes i simply do not react to what is goin on around me. i probs sound like a dick but i had to get it off my chest. cheers for any replies people.

hun.... any time you put something in your body (and i really hate to be saying this stuff about pot but im gonna assume it can be like anything else)- it gets caught up in your liver and the effects on the brain from certain things can last longer then you would expect....
many of times in my life i would quit something- be it alcohol or my antidepressants.... id go three, four months and still feel in ways that just "arent' right"... foggy head, lack of enthusiasum, stuff like that...
the fact is anything you continually put in your body has consequences and a few days, a few weeks, a few months isnt usually gonna totally reverse it. the body has an AMAZING ability to heal itself but its not speedy. i have had brain fog from esctasy, antidepressants, alcohol, .. various things at different times...
do you know how long the side effects can last after you stop anti depressants? two years. seriously. that's scary but the body holds on to stuff.
my advice to you- you can help along the liver with milk thistle and dandelion root (if you're gonna go that route by it organic and cap it yourself.. you can trust commercial stuff)- maybe work your brain- read, do puzzles, write stuff, your brain is a muscle and you have to use it or lose it.
this prolly wasnt totally relavant but just know the body repairs but it takes time but there are ways to speed it up.
good luck :)
