Please note I originally posted this in Random thoughts but it was not popular so I thought I'd give it another go here see what you think!!!



Ive been inspired by a recent post on here offering people negative rep points, as a pagan here's my version of said post.

If you feel you need a pagan blessings replie to this thread with your reason why, and I will channel a pagan blessing in your direction and send it to you on here as well as in the form of sending you postive Rep points too.

Also when you replie on this thread I would like you to send postive Rep points to at least another person who has also replied to this thread who you think may need it and spread the love!

P.s I am not picking and choosing Blessings for people I am doing it in a secret and random way. so if you like it could be said that its come straight from the divine!

if you want to check whose sent you rep points (e.g my blessings) go to your user options (top) then go to control panel.
Can I request that anyone who has found this imfo helpful give happyhaha (whos posted on this thread) some rep points because I can't at the moment because ive given her some recently!!

There's a little grey scale in between the green circle that says whether or not you're online and the little red triangle that you use to report bad posts. Click on that and a little window will pop up, with two options to choose from: I approve, or I dissaprove. Pick one of those, and then there's a little text box underneath to write an explanation for whichever option you chose. Filling in text is optional, but it helps people understand why they got whatever kind of point that they did and lets you tell them what you think without everyone knowing.

Cerridwen wants you to explain the rep points? Well, Skip never gave a clear description of everything they're about, he only said that it was a long term thing and it would make itself more clear as the site comes along. It's supposed to be used whenever you think someone said something especially helpful or useful or intelligent in a post and you think they deserve some credit, or I guess you can give negative rep if you think someone is behaving inappropriately. I don't think that your reputation level goes up unless someone with so many points gives you a point... I think xaosflux said that you have to have like 20 or something before you could actually make a difference in anyone's rep level, but it could be lower or higher than that. There are lots of factors, and Skip is keeping it kind of a mystery and hoping that it doesn't get abused.

folks when you get 5 rep points your total goes up by 1 providing they're all postive or down one if theyre negative and everyone starts with ten points

That takes a lot of time. unfortunately age doesn't help either - I'm 26, out of the broom closet for about a year, and it's still not floating well. hang in there! It'll come in time.
