is medical marijuana dank kind bud or is it just schawg? ive been wondering about this for awhile now

I've never had any medical bud myself, but from what I've heard all the cannabis clubs in california have some killer buds... The government lets one place grow pot for medical studies (which they grant only a miniscule amount to very few studies) but that stuff is absolute dirt from what I've read.
