Someone Clerify this general smell Question...

Ok, so I've never grown, but I might consider giving it an attempt with some bag seeds and garden supplies etc, anyways, for like 2 mature female plants, how intense will the smell be? This question is asked a lot, but no one really gives any range. I'm wondering, would you be able to smell it if it was 10ft away from your bedroom window? What if it's mixed in with other plants?

It depends a lot on the strain.
Some pot has almost has no odor while growing. Outside you'd have to be standing next to it to smell it.
Other strains can be smelled 10 feet away easy.

It also depends on what stage the plant is in. Pot smells WAY stronger when it's flowering.
One thing stealth backyard growers do is also plant a lot of fragrant flowers (jasmine, roses) or stuff like garlic & onions to disguise the smell.
