I would hope not... It's meant to be a joke, they use the same stories with some variations every so often.

obvoiusly you were sufficiently entertained by its existence to call it to our attention. i've never heard of it and wouldn't have now if you hadn't done so.
i doubt if being believed is really the point. does anyone really believe the midnightglobestarinquirerer? not very bright people, my appoligies to anyone who consideres this sort of thing worth their time, when they are very, very, very bored, and can't think of anything more interesting. (as all of us, myself included, do tend to become not so very bright at such times).

My english teacher brought in the magazine to show us all a tabloid magazine. We had an assignment to write a tabloid. It was funny for a bit, but got old pretty fast.

Apparently most people do beleive it, except for the odd true story. Remember truth is stranger than fiction. Check this transcript,

i knew someone who got through lean times doing just that. he wrote the piece "aliens raped my weed eather" and probably the one about "dolly parton's water mellon diet". he told me, if i'm remebering this correctly, they paid him something like $400.00 a story. (which is way more the you get up front for even a ligitimate novel unless you're a known and in demand author).
all he had to do was claim it was true and fake up a couple of pictures.
this was before the days of photo shop so you had to do it in a real darkroom, which is/was a bit more of a challange, but still eminently doable, just a little more work, and the resaults didn't usualy look as convincing, but who cared? everyone knew it was fake but wanted to believe if not that particular story then onw something like it was real enough.
i can remember people used to tell each other stories like that to pass the time. probably if there's still anyplace that doesn't have television and the internet people still do.

I have never believed it, but I've known lots of people to read it and not take it seriously. The WWN folks don't mind as long as you pay for your copy.

the fuck is that, it's not the point of believing in it or not, it's meant to be funny, ain't our faults if you are the one too stupid to consider this as something else. Okay, you think it's boring, do something else than complaining about it, THAT'S BORING. You should spend sometimes learning to appreciate things in life, smile a little bit.

i also love how you can attack me so fast when i asked if anybody actually believes it...calm yourself down, you cunt ass doo-rag
and p.s. as you can see from my avatar, i do smile :)
