Hair dressers scare the shit outta me!

They have scissors, and big machines, and they wanna cut your hair!!!! And then when you ask them "Please just cut 2 inches," THEY CUT 8 INSTEAD!!

last time i got my hair cut i said one inch and she cut off four. i was soo pissed that when i got home i threw my straightener at the wall (didnt break though) and started crying. yes, its sad, but I love my hair.

we're all true hippies, haircuts scares me too and i havent gotten one in ages...and only TRIMS then, i freak if too much is gone.

Yeah, I can relate. My boyfriend just went to this new place to get his hair cut and he asked them to use scissors instead of the shaver thing, so it wouldn't be so short, and the lady was all like ok, sure. So then she ended up hacking the crap out of his head. He was so pissed and was like WTF!? And she said she didn't know how to do it with scissors. He was like, well you stupid *!&#$ you shouldn't have tried to cut it that way then. She was trying to tell him she could fix it and he was like get your manager now, just go get your manager, you're not laying your hands on my hair again, get your manger. So the manager comes over and totally knows what's up by looking at his head and puts him with the top dog stylist who manages to salvage what's left into something good. Bad haircuts happen so often...

I completely agree. I think all hairstylist just start cutting shit till it looks good. I just got my hair cut, and even though I like it, it was absolutely nothing what I expected. Like, it did'nt even come damn close. He did all this layering shit and all this crazy buzzing crap. It turned out all right though... I got lucky this time.

i was born with 6 inches of hair and In my life I've been to the hairdresser once,when I was 6.I was so scared of them they don't care if you've got knots in your hair they just get combing like mad.

I love going to the salon I go about every 2 or 3 weeks to get a trim or highlights redone.
