I hope this doesnt sound (completely) stupid...but I've smoked for hte past two years, and I just got into tea...and I was wondering if you oculd make tea with pot... is it possible? I know it'd possible with shrooms, but what about pot? Like if I cut a whole in the lining of the pouch of tea and packed some in?
thanks

You should, prolly search the forum first, theres been lots of threads about this with some great responses.
In short, the active cannabinoids in bud are not known to be soluble in water. To extract cannabinoids for ingestion I recommend making cannabutter.
This site has some great recipes.

people try saving their stems for tea. However, its all mind over body.

It has to be a placebo effect. Considering theres very little cannabinoids in stems. And cannabinoids are not soluble in water in the first place...

THC is only oil & alcohol soluable.
It doesn't matter if you use schwag stems or the dankest bud--you won't get high unless the weed has been soaked/cooked with oil and/or alcohol.
The placebo effect = you believe it will work therefore it does.
Hypocondriacs(sp) are sometimes prescribed sugar pills for imaginary ailments. They believe they are taking medicine that will cure them and sure enough the ailment goes away.
It's like people who think they get wasted from drinking bong water, or eating roaches, or smoking the tar/ashes they scarpe out of a pipe.
Actually you can get barely high smoking pipe residue, but it's a lousy high, will give you a headache and tastes TERRIBLE.

Placebo effect: Give someone a normal brownie, but tell them it's a pot brownie. Notice how they will act stoned, because they believe they are.
This is personally my theory about the whole world. I don't fly, because I think I cannot fly.
