STDs and baby making?!?!?

I always was curious as to how a couple would have sex or have a child if one of them had an STD? I mean you would think sooner or later the other would catch it. Esspecially if your trying to have a baby and not using a condom, wouldn't you have like a 95% chance of getting the STD???

That is one of the problems about STDs.

The most popular method is to cure the STD before trying to get pregnant.

If that is not possible, artificial insemination and similar techniques can be used to get the mother pregnant. If she is the one with the disease, vaginal birth may transmit the disease to the baby, so a C-section is indicated.
