I had a really freakiy day on fri and have taken a lot of xanax since then. I got caughtin an elevator by myself fri and have had horrible nightmares ever since. I have been taking about 5mg of xanax a day since then and I can't pee. It takes me so long. I have to run my hands in warm water and read a magazine and take deep breaths...even if I wake up in the middle of the night. is this comonn?

Sounds normal, i only say this because Xanax makes me pee much more then i otherwise would and drugs seem to have an opposite affect on me in that area... cept alcohol...

i had this problem when i was taking xanax and klonopin. i took them for a long time though and after a while all that *pushing* and straining on my bladder from trying to get myself to pee has caused me permenant bladder problems that im still dealing with 4 years later. so dont force it if it wont come out.....as someone else said, call your doc.

yep go to the DOC ASAP, I take them every day and never have a problem with my bladder, but I work in the health care facility and you could be have a number of problems with your kidneys and bladder, and even have renal failer.

why would you take 5mg of xanax a day. your body is saying FUCK YOU STOP GIVING ME DRUGS I CANT HANDLE! i know from experience. xanax still kickass but i dont go over 2mg for fear of the blacking out.

haha 8 mgs. I can barely even walk on 6 and i don't remember shit the next day. actually i fell up an escalator one night.

xanax after meth is a godsend
