this might sound like a stupid question but here in britain we dont here much about gatherings etclast night i was watching the movie TROY with my kids and the ithaca island came up as a greek isle
could anyone tell me how it came to be assosiated with gatherings

Yea i am, i live on Long Island. Spend a bit of time in NYC as well. Ithica is a pretty cool place had a few friends that lived there for a bit and well it was the first Gathering i went to. Good ppl and a good music scene, if i remeber correctly ;>

What do you mean Ithica Gathering? The same as in the FLNF gathering? If so, I hope they are coming back. If not, where would this be held?

i'll be in ithaca tomorrow in the morning, grocery shopping at the co-op running errands with a friend. we'll probably make it over to the commons at some point, because tommy's friends with arden. now i'm not sure about my availability for sunday, but again, the big issue is transportation. does next week look good for anybody?

edited to add, btw, patchy, if you still have it, keep trying that number. you're not the only person who's had difficulty getting through, but if you keep trying you will eventually.

moravia still sucks, but things are improving for me. we may have gotten hit with a ton of snow, but i can feel spring just around the corner! can't wait till it's warm enough to hike!

I am 20-25 min. from the commions, and a whole bunch of other places now. This weekend wouldn't be good. I settleing down into my new place. I'll look for the number, and if i find i'll keep trying.
