I once had a dog so smart it seemed he anticipated my every move.
If I took down my coon hunting rifle, I found he already had the coon treed.
If I took down my shotgun, I found him in the tall grass, pointing.
I thought to fool him one day, and grabbed my fishing pole. When I stepped outside, he was nowhere to be seen. I called and called. Then I looked in the back yard. I found him there, digging worms.
