From this huge group of oming people holding hands</SPAN>
you can see a line of children coming from the forest. All the children are in a parade walking to the circle of oming people. It was a beautiful sight.

From the hillside you can see part of the huge circle formed by the people holding hands. The cluster in the middle is where I was encircled by more circles...it was so awsome


On the fourth there was a silence till noon. We didn't speak. It was humerous to try to communicate to each other with our bodies instead. The spot they held the gathering at was beautiful.

Damn! I wish I knew you were there. You should have come up to 4ums to say hello!! There were a few of us from the forums there. That and we were surrounded by amazing kitchens with tons of great food, unlike main circle which had an overabundance of rice and lentils. I don't think I can eat rice or lentils for the next month or so.

I came by the 4ums tent 3 times. Once wa at night but I just ate some mushrooms so I was observing the sillyness. I did see 2 members there on Sunday. There was so much food there! They had pizza and popcorn and really good veg soup...the rice was overwhelming it was very spicy. We camped up by yoga camp.

those pictures are awesome.. my friend Life went to the gathering.. he had a hell of a time :D he was telling us all about it, and he was like "you guys, we all have to go to the gathering next year.. " i already wanted to go to one, and now i want to go even more...

wow those pics make me sad i wasnt there. so beautiful. i like the not talking till noon thing. we used to have a dinner and everyone wold sit in a circle and have their hands tied to their neighbors........ we wold all have to cooperate to eat our food! it was great........

Yeah, Id have photos also, but when I stopped in Arcata on my way back home to Tacoma, my car window was busted out and my camera bag and camera were stolen. What a load of crap huh? They could have at least left my rolls of film. Oh well...live and learn, forgive and forget...I had a great time, though. Now all I have are stories...good stories...

We had that happen too once at our appartment. Someone stole our diggy cam but it was no use to them without the rest of the equiptment. It had tons of pictures on it at the time. Fuckerz

That looks beautiful. I SO wish I could have made it. Oh well, there will be others. Anybody planning on going to Okanogan Faire this year? I think I'm gonna go.
