No, Romans Gods were never truly good, partly because they were the mental creation of szhizoids, and partly because they were prone to evil. Evil is in all of us. Wait! What is evil in the first place? How can you define it, separate it from good. I shalt not use thou christian ideaology to seperate them, not me, not a Roman God. There is no sin, a true sin would be not ever commiting a sin, if thou might want to see evil so. Back on topic, that is me, a God, just like you, yes you... sitting in that chair, staring in that screen. We are all Gods, in one way or another. We control oue lives, the Gods of ourselves, and we influence the lives of others, the Gods of others. So go and worship thyself, you God!

I am going to school and majoring in Environmental Science, although I want to change my major to Philosophy. I think I'll just double major or something. Right now I am working as a housekeeper at a Comfort Inn. Exciting stuff.

I'm Laetitia, or Laety (if you call me Laety then you'll prove me that you wanna be friendly ;)), 19 years old, French, at the moment living in Spain (where it's way too hot for me!), and I will be moving to America (New Jersey, close to NYC) in August (well, if I get my VISA - I have the interview on Monday!!). I'll be going to college there, for 4 years. I guess that I am quite a different girl, lol, not that I am nuts (well, sometimes), but I am... well, different. I have hippy beliefs, but couldn't hate the hippy stereotypes more than I already do... I'm very spiritual, mystical, I love fantasy... I've been here for already 3 years, it's incredible, I can't believe it. I met my fiance, Nick (wiuf) here 2 years ago, and well he's here in Spain with me now. I started with the French forum, and then Europe, and just recently Movies and Books... and now this one (oh and Planet Gong, but as a different user name) It's too much work! But I like it. I might as well introduce myself. I'm Rashaad, a 23 year old American living and working in Japan. I teach English for a living, and I enjoy it a lot (I don't have a lot of love for some of the works I work for, but that's life). I don't think I'm an extraordinary person by any stretch, but my life has been unpredictable throughout the last 18 months, and I think it'll continue to be unpredictable.

I've been posting on this site for about a little less than two years, and I love being on it. Some people on this site drive me crazy, but well, that's life.

There's nothing too special about me, but I'm confident my life will be very exciting and interesting.

Online I'm usually sunsean but my name is Shawn. I live in Washington state where I grew up 'though I moved away to Alaska for six years. I like to make jewelry and I just started learning about working glass with flame, beadmaking. I am entering a new phase of my life I am finally becoming comfortable being myself around other people. Well somewhat comfortable anyway more than before. I've kind of been a hippy since the second grade when I started growing my hair long. I'm an artist and have been that since I was born really but really thought I was an artist since I was four or so. I've been a wanderer and a clerk an at home Dad sometimes a wild man sometimes in trouble but being nice and quiet now no longer hiding or needing to appear as something I'm not. I am so excited about my art I'm not even reading books after a year of some discontent with me unable to make any strides in art. But now I have new confidence and I am determined that I can make a living even with my art, somehow I have to be able to find a niche that I am comfortable in. Anyway I am taking my life which was full of problems sorrow and making it all ok. I've decided to quit beating myself up for things I didn't do and mistakes I made some twenty years ago. I don't have to block out my past anymore - I can let go of the pain. When I'm done with that I'll go back to saving the world. I'm about to get involved in the "Abolish Corporate Personhood" campaign being driven by the Womens International League for Peace and Freedom. I have to work on that effort. I am an empath and I usually don't read the paper or watch tv. I'm 43 and I'm turning my midlife crisis into an opportunity to change myself to the capable and competent person that confidence will make me. Mostly I am about art and sensuality. Indulging in sensuality that is. But I am looking for a light hearted friend to have a meaningful relationship with. And of course - sensuality. Well that is a little about me. Sorry if I left out the parts that are interesting to you. *S*

I have been coming to these forums since November of 2002, though I didn't start posting profusely until a couple months later. I was fairly shy at that point. I am tall -about 6' 1" - and have short brown hair and blue/gray eyes...good looking. :p (I don't mean that seriously, lol. I'm not that conceited)

As far as my interests go, my number one passion is music. I play two instruments fluently (drums and viola), and might start playing guitar too. In addition to that, I listen to a huge amount of music, and sometimes write reviews of albums in my spare time. I also like to read, ride my bike, write, and be with close friends. That's a pretty good, simplistic way of describing myself.

i'm christina, 21 years old and currently studying english and german literature and linguistics. i have black hair (dyed, i'm kinda famous for having the weirdest hair colors, lol) and my eyecolor varies between grey, blue and green (but that was given to my by nature).
i'm on the forums since december 29th, 2002, but had another screen name, ivyrain, but not many people here will know me because i mostly wrote in the german forum.
there i met silent jay (julian) and somehow we became friends. in the beginning of april he secretly made a song out of a poem i once wrote, sent it to me and since that day i write lyrics for him sometimes.
after over one and a half year of knowing each other online we met two weekends ago in real life and are now on the crusade to convince everyone in the world that it's possible that men and women can understand each other very good and only be friends.
i was really hippy-ish when i came here, but now i am...well, i don't know what i am, but, i think that i am me, now, finally, and only just me. well, at least i know who i am... . but what i can say is, that i hate stereotypes. the hippy one, the goth one, the emo one, every one.
i like music, poetry, read way too much, dream too much. i am chaotic and hectic and everything i am looking for right now are my semester holidays that start next week :)

Laety, when I was saying that one of my close friends has a picture scanner, I was actually incorrect. He doesn't. For some reason, I thought he had one, but I was wrong. It's possible that he might get one at the end of the year, but for now, I can't post any pictures. There are picture scanners in the school's computer lab, but the one time I tried to use them, they were extremely complicated. I think you'll see me eventually, though (hopefully). :p
