Magic Dream

Let us take a walk so nice

At the very edge of paradise.

Where lives and visions start to blend

And staid thoughts will start to rend.



We can race down open roads.

We’ll go so far till souls explode.

We’ll drink up dreams in silent sips.

We’ll make this life a magic trip.



In lonely eyes we’ll always stare.

In every place they’re standing there.

They’ll beg us then to let them come

Forgetting where and when they’re from.



We’ll put the shining stars to shame.

They shall be puppets in our game.

We’ll laugh and scream at sacred nights.

As holy men we’ll perform our rites.



We’ll clasp our hands in silent prayer.

We’ll take big gulps of pure air.

We’ll burn our thoughts of anxious things.

We’ll cleanse our minds of all that clings.



Our visions now will grow from trees.

As the whole world is poetry.

We’ll let nature write our tunes.

Listen as its chorus croons.



Journey with me on this stream.

Help me see this magic dream.

Let me have your sacred trust

As we go on this great thrust.



So join me on this trip today.

Where ice and fire come and play.

i think that some of the rhyming sounds a little forced but it gives good imagery and has a very steady rhythm.
