I could give you one night and leave you begging for more.
I wish I were your best friend so I could tell you lies that
would make you feel like shit. My love, I wish I was your
God, so I could make you dissapear.But most of all, my love,
I wish I was your bird, so I could sing in your ear when you
want silence.

THE MERMAID
My leg is tired to the weight of your body, my heart is
beating to the rythm of your guitar, Crazy how that hair
across your face could make my body shake. Your crooked
smile coming my way screaming open for business. Don't
try to seduce the mermaid, I'll give you just one taste, and
then pull you down, into a blissful death.

THE WHORE
I can take your favorite jeans and wear them more than you
do. I'll take your favorite shirt and make a bikini top, I'll
take your heart and build my own playground. Cruelty is
what I do best, so lend me your most personal of things, let
me fuck with your mind, until I'm the only thing you think
about. I'll tempt you with ungodly apeal. I'll tease until you
can't move.. are you ready?

LOVE that line. It is a great conclusion tothe poem, which I really enjoyed. I thought the first was the best, and then the second, and then the third. But all were good :).
