If we really did start a revelution in masses at the same time all over the world, would we just go running up to the all the political facilities and blow them up, or do we all stop voting, consuming, paying taxes... what, how.. and how would we all communicate with the spying and all going on..
I belive that it is a work in progress and it will be from a force within us that will show us what we should do when it's time to act. Sincroninity. I think it will be instint. I think the fact that many of us believe theres gotta be a specific time and place to bring about change is whats bringing it to a halt completly.

We all can agree that we want a revolution to take hold but we arn't really looking into what can make it happen.

Many of us can clearly see modernisation has backfired on us all and only left us further from true improvement as a human race and is leading to a terrible crisis to mother nature that will worsen our quality of living tremendously.

Alot of us also realise that materialism as a basis of living has left us further from the truth as a human race and currupted all of us to a certain extent leading to war and death.

I think its time those of us that are tuned in need to take the final step and drop out so that we can come together and start working on a new way of living for the human race that will effect positive change thats based on working with mother nature instead of against.

Remember we must be the change we wish to see in the world.

My advise is to Educate yourself in survival, you ones in the city will pariish without knowing how to make do.
Most of the young people of today have no idea how to plant a seed and make it grow. THere is no button to push to make it happen.. it comes from the doing of it.
Does any one know how long to boil water before it's purified, or how to tell poison mushrooms from the edible ones, or which berries you can eat in the wild. Can you make fire from two sticks, can you clean a fish or skin a deer.
All this talk and no one knows squat.
I dont what a bunch of fat lazy kids to drag around.. it's gonna be survival of the fittest and the ones that can't fend for them selves is gonna be in sad shape.
Do you think that it's gonna be fun and games.. Yeah Cool, Lets have a revolution.. Let's go out and burn and tear it down. Then lets starve to death and freeze.. or hey that kid have some food.. lets take it and fuck him/her.
No it is defently not time yet. How would the young survive with no remote or PC or a fridge to open and get what you want to eat out of it.. or mom or dad driving you around to the Mall to hang out. No, I tell you now that you had better start learning survival or your dead meat.. I for one will not be willing to take the food from my childrens mouth to put it in yours. I will however teach you to grow your own and to forage for food in the wild. But you had better be willing to do the work bc I aint doing your share. You kids whine when asked to take out the trash or wash the dishes.
Think about sleeping on the cold wet ground with no bed or blankets, think about digging a hole to crap in and no toilet paper. No makeup, hair gel or mousee for your hair, no coke or pepsi no ipods or mp3s.

I'm 55 and all my life I have been hearing this same thing. The End is near!! So from when I got here till now it must be a dang sight closer to the End.
I learned how to survive, My father taught me. He taught me how to shoot and defend myself. He taught me to pruify water and to know which plants to eat and how to build a shelter. He taught me how to fish and hunt for meat. He showed me how to plant and nurture a seed. He also taught me to humble myself to no man but only GOD and to give thanks for the blessings I have.
Teach your children well. Take the time and go out and experience nature, don't just sit and watch it on tv. Prepare yourselves before you go out and start a revoluton. I don't think we're ready yet.. too much gang violence still, they would try to kill us all and take our food. Are you ready for hand to hand combat (shudder). Could you really handle it, do you know what your really going to have to do and the hardships that it will create, can you do it.. you young ones that say.. Hell ya.. lets do it' ..do you know what sacrifices you will have to make.. are you ready to kill or be killed up in your face. What about the very old and very young who cannot defend themselves, who will care for them.
There's a lot of shit going on that people don't know or think about. You go to tamperin' with shit without knowing what affect it will have on the whole planet or how to live with what will occure, it's gonna take a lot of innocent ones out , it may be you or someone you love.. or someone I love and then I'm gonna take you down.. ya see how that works.. violence begets violence.. We are not ready. We have not got community together enough, no one is willing to do the work.. talk talk talk..big talk little effort.

The only thing I'll thank Lyndon for, is not running for a second term. When the news hit the late edition of The San Francisco Examiner, I was dancing down Haight Street. A few weeks later, King was killed, and I was running down Fillmore St., where I lived (the heart of the ghetto), for my life. Very soon, I hitch-hiked back to good ole NYC., where the ghetto was 166 blocks away.

When I lived in SF, I can assure you that the Fillmore District was a ghetto-- mostly black. I don't know about now.

I remember the Filmore Dist.. it was in fact 99% black and very dangerous as was the T.L. One did not venture out into these districts alone or unarmed. The black communities did not like hippies, which were mainly middle class white children/young adults. There were not many black hippies that I remember, I can count the ones I saw in the Haight on my fingers, compared to the thousands of young white kids that covered the nine block raidus of the Haight and that filled the park..

There may have been a lot of them kinda chickies around, but the women I knew were on a different level of consciousness and were reasonably responsible. I met a few wild ones but they didn't stay long at the communes. I only knew one rich one that I can remember or knew about at the time.
I never called home for money, even tho I would have gotten it. Not bc my parents were rich but bc they loved me. I worked for money.. I would sometimes dance at the Follies on Mission or sling drinks for tips in North Beach. There were ways of making a few bucks.. We'd all go down to the wineries and test wine for 50$ and a bunch of wine to drink for free or sell blood..I never did sell blood but I knew a shitload that did.

They would look at me as if I had proposed an indecent act. "We're coal-miners, not pipeliners!" the idiots would exclaim, thereby self-limiting theirselves and ensuring further unemployment. But, then, what more can one expect from human-groundhogs?

I know what yer sayin' about people who don't wanna work. This county is probably UNOFFICIALLY one of the most unemployed places in the USA. Folks complain about no jobs constantly. But I've been in a position quite a few times where I had money in my pocket and was tryin' to hire somebody, anybody to do some work, but nobody wanted the job. And the ONE time I did manage to find someone who said they'd work, they spent 2 weeks and $1,800 if my money "fixing" leaky roofs, only to have them never finish the job, and the roofs still leak...

All my life I worked, paid taxes, refrained from shooting irritating assholes, stayed out of prison and paid more taxes. Now, I'm getting old (have been gray for 10 years), I'm sick and can't really work much.


In 3 years I can get SS. So, what the fuck if I get it sooner for disability? I earned it.

If Oprah would tout my novel on her show, I wouldn't need a goddamn penny of govt. money, but she won't, so I ain't too proud to take their meagre handouts. $205 a month, I don't need; $152 a month food stamps, I can live without-- all I really wanted was the Medicare.

Forgive me for wanting to know if my constantly aching shoulder is arthritis, a muscle pull or bone cancer.

Social Services are in place bc there has to be something for the old and disabled, it's not a handout they take that money from your paycheck so you are just re-cooping what you already worked for.
I had to live off the system to get ( like thud said) medical for my disable child. She had over 190.000$ worth of medicade bills and perscriptions a year. I was a single parent for several years and I had no choice. We barely survived. I worked for cash when I could to make ends meet. Raising 2 kids on afdc and ssi was no fun.. they watch you and you have to report.
I got off the aid when I married my current hubby, altho my daughter still got ssi and medicade. I went to work full time after that and worked 15 yrs and broke my neck on the job and got denighed SSD. All that money they took out of my check each weak for 15 yrs is all tied up with war machines.

n just um to get back on the track,,,,, was this all part of "doing your thing" i aint old n grey ...just grey .... but i thunk part of the doing our thing was not relying upon the govt to take care of us.....at one time the idea was to get all the services one could in order to break the gov.'s war machine.It didn't work.Now what was the purpose of government?To protect free commerece.That was it.Now much more is expected.We expect protection.This comes in the form of military and police.Why then when it comes to protecting one's health and welfare do we fall.It's an either/or situation,either they're job is to protect or it isn't.Some of us get more then we paid in some get less.It don't matter.Either we take care of each other or we don't.My true beliefs are pro war,anti medicine,pro famine.Let nature take it's course,let the population dwindle down to nothing,but as a soiciety we've taken the high road,so i guess i'll follow it.Cause when it really comes down to it,we're gonna end up in the same place anyway and i really don't give a fuck.peace and top of the morning to everyone.

drop out-to where,there is no frontier left,$ buys property,hence still in the fence

im 49 & at a crossroad ,in canuckland the man seems to be taking our means of living a rural life away daily,farming&logging have pretty much gone down the tubes-restrictions on farm gate sales-gun registry-creation of new restricted parkland-kings deer/fish.they seem to want to centralize the pop. here you can only go so far north before it gets too short a growing season,suburbs sprouting in the corn fields,yada yada
i spent 20 yrs back to the land & know how to start a fire with two sticks but the cost of land (gone are the$3000 100acre farms) i can only dream while i listen to traffic stream past my townie window
