The mountains whipser something
faint and distracting
passerbies wear blue and yellow-
a coat of dusk, the perfume of music,
composed of things in watery lights
the days like a fabric with weak threads
are ripped off
and i keep their starry shutter of words
afraid, even, to open the door
on streets of lilies in the stranger hours
