I'm baby sitting for my sons 5 year old sister, and wrote her this. I just thought I'd share.
Twas the night before Christmas
It was foggy as heck
And Rudolph was grounded
With a sprain in his neck
“Oh my” said old Santa
“it’s too foggy I fear,
to make my deliveries
for Christmas this year!”
Then up spoke the little girl
Reindeer named Bess
“Let me do the leading,
I’ve got GPS”
The boy Reindeers snickered
“A girl lead the ride?”
It was just too much
for their manly old pride.
Well Santa was getting
Much hipper each year.
And spreading the joy
with more high tech gear.
So he pondered a moment
And then said with Glee
”What a fine new idea,
It sure works for me!”
“You Reindeer stop fighting!
Intel? AMD?
I couldn’t care less.
I’m busy you see.
With Bess in the lead
We’ll make out all right
And gifts will be delivered
This Christmas eve night!”
So he hitched up his Reindeer
With Bess in the lead
And a bag of fresh batteries
In case of the need
Checking longitude and lat
She led a course true
And in no time at all
His rounds were all through
So you business guys out there
Learn from this tale
A woman can lead you
As well as a male
And as for the kiddies
They were happy this year
With all kinds of goodies
And cool high tech gear.
