Looking for Leo

I've always liked to personally interact with signs and stuff to get a better idea of what they're like in a general sense, but I haven't come across any Leo males, only females. :( Perhaps someone wants to volunteer to be my "guinea pig"? :D Please ?

I whouldn't go near a leo guy, they are sorta egotistical.
But then again i never rally clicked in with leo's anyway.

They can be humors and like most leos they have the one skill that the other 12 signs don't have ATTENTION,ATTENTION,AND ATTENTION.

There pretty good at drawing attention and if there not in the spotlight they no what to do to get it in the spotlight.

I personaly whouldn't try to get in touch with a leo, but then again i envy you for the fact that your trying to learn more about your opposite sign, aquarious.

I've always actually liked Leo for that gotta-be-in-the-spotlight attitude. It's never bothered me when people want attention. I guess sometimes it gets irritating dependng on what they do to get it, but I've come across many Leo females and I thought all of them were so cool, like "ooo I wish I could be like heerr" *eye sparkle* type of deal. ^_^; So yeah, I guess it all depends on what one can tolerate, and since I can tolerate it for the most part (being around a lot of Ariens, who also seem to have that trait) I think it'll be a good experience.

I had this one leo in 2 of my classes, basicly i had him once every year.

He figured the best way to get attention was to go infront of the class and start acting like a jackass, litterly.

It was funny at first but by the time i had him in the second year, he was just fucking annoying.

and i couldn't understand, "doesn't this leo get the idea that he just acting like an idiot"

I came to the conclusion that he is too proud to acknoledge the fact thats he's an idiot.

I mean right now i bet he is also proud that he's out of high school, out of work and doesn't even or not in the process of geting a post secondary education.

I mean he could be a bum on the street and yet he whould still be too proud in himself.

Leo girls on the other hand there a little bit diffrent, that is interms of the kind of attention they want. There more into the compliment and i notice you did your hair diffrent kinda thing.

that plus theres a leo girls in one of the other threads, she is getting me "fired up" but i'm not in same point i am with leo guys.

They can be annoying but I tolerate them, however i can't tolerate or shal i say can't tolerate leo guys.

Almost the same thing with aries i tolerate aries girls, but the guys sometimes tick me off not as bad as leo thought.

To be honest i like aqurious the best there friendly and i normally get along with them off the bat.

but i guess its because of the fact that i have aquarious in my chart, and my sun is in a air sign(gemini).

There are two kinds of Leos... The extroverted ones who are flambouyant, outgoing and showy... Then there are the quiet ones... Don't want to be the center of attention, but don't want to be ignored, either...

All are egotistical, however the extroverted ones wear it on their sleeves, the introverted ones do not. You can hurt their pride and never know it... We actually get wounded quite easily, but we tend to forgive, even easier.

I've dated two Leo males. They were both the quiet type. Actually, too quiet for me, I found them boring... LOL

And, I'm the quiet Leo type, as well... However, my Sagittarian Ascendant pushes me out a little bit. I don't fear taking risks, despite the possible injury to my pride... :)

Well all say, i had to leos in one of my clases before, there was some kind of conection, i could never figure out how thought, i guess its the fact that they both like attention as these two leos where the extroverted,show off types.

Anyway one of leos contiued going on drawing attention from the class but as he did so he fed some of that attention to the other leo and the other leo resonsded by giving him her attention.

He went up being the clown he is and as he did his jokes he directed it towards her, so he was drawing attention from the class and directing it to her.

weird?? i whould have been pissed but instead she smiled, i assumed because of the attention he was giving her.

Basicly they drew attention towards each other.

Air signs tend to be into media so it whouldn't be a suprise that you whould find one online.

If you want to look for a leo think like a leo, they will probible like to be noticed so it whouldn't be a surprise if you saw them at the dance, the mall, the theater and etc.

What about from your parnter? I am not one to like attention from strangers, in general. However, I do like a lot of attention from my partner. And I hate to be ignored. I have no desire to completely disappear from the scene, but not the whole room. Although, having the undivided attention of someone I am interested in, is great...

Sorry about the leo bashing, i think the problem is that its always a small number of people born under each sign that makes the sign look horrible.

For example i'm assuming that most of you people think that all geminis are evil, when in actuallity its some geminis.

But going back to finding a leo, after reading ginge's and fractuals posts maybe you can find a leo online but then again it whould probible be a diffrent type of leo, the more quieter type, then if you went places that are "outgoing" like i said
for example the mall you will probible find the extravegent show off typicall leo.

Im a leo (And a girl im affraid!) but I dont think that I'm obnoxious! I am pretty loud around the people I know and I like to be centre of attention around them but not around strangers. How smart am I? Hmm...I really couldn't tell you. LOL I mean, I'm not an ignorant, blubbering idiot, but I'm far from a genius.

I'd like to say us quieter Leos are probably...not smarter, but just more observant. We take things in and we LISTEN more than the obnoxious, loud Leo who's too busy trying to be the center of attention to really notice anything around him/her.

In the end, I'd say us quieter Leos are probably better communicators because we pay more attention to the people around us than we do ourselves.

However, as far as attention goes, I think the Leo in me is obsessed with giving other people attention. For instance, in the 'Introduce Yourself!" area of the forum, I'm always in there saying "Hi" and "Welcome" to the new people. Not because I want attention, but because I want THEM to have attention. I don't want them to be ignored.

I am a Leo and I am quiet and fairly shy, but as Leo's are born leaders, I think they lead by example, as 70% of communication is non verbal and we seem to think about what we say before we say it. People will remember more of what you say if you say it with fewer words. :o

I've never thought about going into film, but I did used to want to work in PR in the music business. But changed my mind as soon as the industry starting going down the shitter. :mad: As of right now, I honestly don't know what I want to do with my life aside from travel. Which doesn't narrow it down very much. lol

You know, I have no clue as to what other signs are in my chart. I don't even know how to figure it out. :( The only thing I hear a lot is that Leos do good with Libras. Don't know if that's true, though. Maybe you could help me find out what other signs are in my chart? It would definitely provide some insight as to why I'm such an atypical Leo.

I am graduating from art college on wednesday, and art is mostly about non verbal communication, except poetry and other literature. I don't think I have too much ego or I try not to and am a fairly nice guy and quite shy. there is some attraction between libra and leo, i can't say all leos and libras are "fit together" but what i can say is the two signs get along most of the time.

But the compatablity between the two signs(leo and libra) is vary sterotypical it normal works if both are egotistical and they fuel each others ego, almost like leo and leo, but in this case libra isn't competing for the attention leo needs.

Say sprout, what's your ascendent? Cause you were saying how you're shy and stuff and that's not typical for Leo. I'm an Aquarius [obviously xD;] and i'm shy too which isn't common for Aquarius but I have Pisces ascendent [bleh] so i was thinking maybe that's why. ^.^

quick question as i have seen Leo's being observed in a very negative light, is it not possible to break away from these typical traits? after all many have led a life which has first broken them before rebuilding and reshaping them as a person.

well i didnt read the whole thread (short attention span, sorry gemini here :p
) but what i can say is a lot of people are picking up on the Leo traits and not quite understanding why.
Firstly Leos ARE as you have pointed out (many of you :p) very very attention seeking, growing up with a Leo mum who also seemed to attract a lot of Leo boyfriends and friends showed me this early on. But its also a severe security issue. Nervous times cause them to play up more because they find it a lot more difficult to handle thei emotions than some other signs.
Also while a large majority of Leos do seek attention to them selfs in that very over the top "look at me"way there are the few which get their attention in different ways, some of the more subtler Leos will do things that help them fel wanted without needing the stage to do it, being very clinging and needing a lot of love in a relationship can be quite typical, as flirtatious as they are they do like to have one person give them constant love.

Also i will now stick up for Jaycee here. I have NEVER been able to get a close relationship with a Leo in my entire life, i have been surrounded by them since birth and have never found a leo i connected with, Tarus signs usually end up being good friends with me actually, anyway Jaycee i will agree is not like any other Leo i have ever met, far from being the attention seeker most leos are portrated to give, he likes to give attention, very much a selfless person. The only Leo ive ever connected with and we share a connection deeper than almost anyone ive ever met.
What you have to remember is we all have 12 signs which effect our personallity in different ways many people focus only on that main sun sign but it must be remembered not everyone can be judged upon this, also one of the points about learning about your sign is so you can find yourweaker and stronger points and work upon them.

i know i 'm a little late in the game, but after reading this i had to say something.
It seems like all this sign stuff is just giving people more reasons to discriminate.
I have been told all my life i am not a typical leo at all. In fact opposite. I don't really give signs a whole lot of weight though.
It's just kinda crazy all the generalizing going on.
Both my boyfriend and I are leos. We are both pretty quiet but talk alot more around friends. By no means loud or center of attention type people.
I love to help people, mostly mentally and emotionally. Not like the best advice giver, but love to help as much as possible. I love having lots of friends, but not for attention, more to keep me from thinking too much. I drive myself crazy if i spend too much time alone.
I'm not really sure what my point is, i guess i just took a little offense to all the Leo bashing

im actually friends with two leo males.. one, whom i've known for about 12 years, and he is a mixture of both extroverted and introverted leo.. more so extroverted.. and the other im not quite sure about yet, im dont know him as well..

I was moody at the time, i think the problem is gemini's tend to be easily pissed off other times not so much.

In general i don't hate leo's, I was just annoyed with one leo who i never got a long with.

What you have to remember is we all have 12 signs which effect our personallity in different ways many people focus only on that main sun sign but it must be remembered not everyone can be judged upon this, also one of the points about learning about your sign is so you can find yourweaker and stronger points and work upon them.
i think your right on fleassy, because i've encountred many leos before and well i started to hate all leos when i meet this certain leo.
but what you said makes perfect sense because that leo was probible the more outgoing leo, while i'am probible the more quiet gemini, so in a way are charts clashed.

Since it is the birthday time for leos, I'll talk about them. I am a gemini, and I love leo males. The female leos are great too. What I notice about them is that all of them are egotistical. If youe aren't talking about a topic that doesn't involve them, they could care less. (Aries are worse at this though, I call that selfishness) Leos are egotistical in that they need praise and admiration from others. The leo males that I know are always looking for an audience, which is great b/c I depend on them for entertainment, being a gemini.
