The third European Social Forum will take place from 14-17 October in London.

Four Day pass from £20... Free accomodation at the event maybe provided... see website for details... on line registration available from July 2004

The ESF is a unique opportunity where social movements, trade unions, NGOs, refugees, peace and anti-imperialist groups, anti-racist movements, environmental movements, networks of the excluded and community campaigns from Europe and the world can come together to discuss how to achieve global social justice for all and debate ways of making 'another world possible'.

This is an amazing opportunity! It may not be held in the UK again for decades!

COME ALONG!!! xxx

Hi Claire,

Maybe I'm in London on those dates, but it's not sure. Do you have a website with more info?

I hadn't heard about that, sounds really interesting... Too soon to say if I can make the dates but I'll certainly try my best! Anyone wanting a lift for petrol money from anywhere vaguely on the way between manchester and london drop me a line!

Yes, a big part of protesting is meeting like minded people and having fun:)

I know what you mean about having many trips! I've rarely been at home this summer!

I don't think I'll be able to make it to the ESF as I'll be busy preparing for the warehouse party the week after (see other thread in party & protest). If anyone can volunteer to take some flyers for the warehouse party down to ESF and pass them around that would be fantastic - flyering is a great way to meet people, gives you an excuse to talk to everyone! email events@hardcoremission.co.uk if you can help out.
All the best,
Chris
