christmas in my family has always been lame. I mean when i was little my mom tried her hardest to make it great, but we were dirt poor so we didnt get much. No loads of cookies or doll houses or any of that. I had to spend christmas with my whole family. Everyone was drunk and sometimes fighting and bored. Then i got older and got was disapointed in all this buy buy buy or people will think you dont love them. Decorate for christmas a month or two early.
The pressure is so hard when you dont have any money and you want your kids to be all happy. And people feel that giving a present to somebody at christmas is going to heal everything. ....I dunno

I dont think i will ever do the christmas thing again when i get down to Costa Rica. It feels so....unclean anymore :(
