Karma

I'd like to start a discussion about Karma.
Most of us in the groovy will believe in in but how do you see it and how does it applie to you?

No idea about the poll, computers aren't really my thing.

Anyway Karma....

I do believe in karma, there are so many examples of it in life.

I think people just make it up their karma as they go along. Past lives probably do have an effect. (In the respect my beliefs are quite Buddhist) but I'm not sure people can plan their karma.

The God/ddesses are probably running the show with regards karma. So I just leave them to it. After thousands of years they must have it figured out better than I do.

It might well come back three fold, depends on the situation.

I think it has to do with past lives and what we do in this one.

I believe in Karma... but the whole 3fold law is based on karma (just another term for it) so why wouldn't a wiccan believe in it?

Secondly, a lot of your options are very similar.... Wouldn't it be better to make a poll that says Do you believe in Karma? yes/sortof/no....

i don't believe we get to choose the lessons of this life; a higher power knows what we're ready for, and what we need to learn to be ready for. How we handle those situations thrown at us determines what lessons are next. We may each have a path to follow, but it's up to us to clear the way.

I'm a firm believer in karma...seen it so many times, in my life and in the lives of others. It can be from other lives, or from things we have done in this life...both good and bad...what we do affects us and the planet...I love the image of the ripple affect caused by throwing a pebble onto a pond or lake...and it all comes back to us, tenfold.

yeah I believe in Karma. I've seen it in action.
I'm not sure about the whole "comes back three fold" theory though.
I just believe that when you do something wrong you get your ass kicked.
