There has been evidence for a reverse tolerance, with folk not always getting effects to begin with but only after a few uses. Not personally experienced this myself though.

The only tolerance that I have found with Salvia is immediately after smoking it. If one smokes an amount and five minutes later, tries to get off again, he or she will likely encounter diminished effects. There seems to be no tolerance after the one hour mark.

Actually, I smoked some, then tried some more, and it seemed to work out better.

been at it daily for 3 months and I notice that there might be a very minor reverse tolerance which only seems to makes less a little more effective.
I think I was happy with once every 3-5 days did that for more than 2 years, guess that is not really about tolerance, more about frequency, possibly debunking tolerance.

i've noticed no tolerance build up at all. in fact i seem to need less each time i smoke to get the same efx.

I also experienced a reverse tolerance with it, i have no need for extract as one bowl of normal foliage will do the trick.

just took four days off after over 100 days consecutive
then the usual amount was taken but the effect was level 5 rather than level 4 and the afterglow the next day is still quite sharp.
so there may be negative tolerance to an extent, but a day or four off is amazing too.
