What is the symbol found on many brand names designating the product as Kosher?

Is it the "u" with a circle around it? I need to find out as soon as possible. thanks guys.

There are many different hechshers, but one of the most common is a circle with a u in it (also one of the most widely accepted.) This page has some other symbols:

theres one thats a K, and another looks like the Torah

most Jews will accept the U-O or the K
Scroll K and the vads are more reional.
